The Digital Sales Representative is the subject matter expert representing all Wilson Times Co. digital products, including our digital agency Kingsdale Media as well as five local media websites, online automotive marketplace ncwheels.com, ticketing website wawtix.com and localized email databases.
You’ll utilize consultative sales skills to assess client needs and provide digital advertising solutions to better engage their customers. A large portion of your time will be spent in the field, either on solo sales calls or collaborating with existing sales teams at our media properties located in Wilson, Nash, Johnston, Wake and Granville counties. You’ll educate decision makers and build rapport to break down barriers and close sales.
You’ll also have a seat at the table to help plan our digital strategy.
You’ll be responsible for continued increase in digital advertising revenues through new business development. You’ll be expected to continuously meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly basis. In doing so, you'll determine your financial success - we don’t cap commissions.
You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work and learn in a fast paced environment to be successful in this position.
